Filthy Frequencies series launches w/ Cyclops in the Mile High City this January

Party Troopers is bringing everyone's favorite egg to the Aztlan Theatre, alongside rising Denver duo, SLWMO.

The underground scene in Denver is thriving. And while some small fractions of EDM Twitter may not think it's the "real" bass capital of the world, it's gotta be in the top 3.

Given that the Mile High City is a hotbed for dubstep talent, we love to see announcements like the one today — Cyclops will be playing a headline show on January 14, 2023 at the Aztlan Theatre.

Hosted by Party Troopers (pioneers of the Neon Project Festival), this event will launch the Filthy Frequencies series in the new year. Cyclops will be performing alongside Dubble AA and SLWMO.

The promoter, Party Troopers, said that Filthy Frequencies is being launched to bring the Colorado Bassheads community together every month. The goal is to create an authentic rave experience at one of Denver's oldest and dopest concert venues, the Aztlan Theatre.

"Each month, we'll be bringing out some of Denver's best local artists, along with a different stage design and an upcoming dubstep, riddim or trench headliner," Party Troopers said. "I'm just excited to show everyone what we're capable of producing prior to our annual music festival the Neon Project."

It's really something special that the dubstep community in Colorado consistently goes out of its way to bring people together. Whether it's shows big or small, the scene here is unlike anywhere else in the world.

And someone whose done a great job of bringing people together is Cyclops. Known on EDM Twitter for his "EDM Twitter Weekly Round-Ups," he has an attractive sense of humor that captures everything we love about memes.

It was also just announced that Cyclops is going on tour with ATLiens in 2023, so clearly he's a hot act to follow heading into the new year.
