Breakaway Music Festival to debut this summer in Kansas City

The genre-stretching show is set for a knockout time alongside artists like Alison Wonderland, Rossy, Ray Volpe, Trivecta & more.

Breakaway Music Festival just dropped a stacked lineup for its Kansas City debut in August. Artists such as The Chainsmokers, Illenium, Alison Wonderland, NGHTMARE, San Holo, and Ray Volpe line the festival's billing, making for an unforgettable weekend in the new location.

Kansas City adds to the four stops Breakaway Music Festival already has in California, Ohio, Michigan and North Carolina.

The location is a classic midwest venue, Azura Amphitheater. Towards the end of 2021, this center hosted names like Glass Animals and Suicide Boys. The Amphitheatre is a brief 20-minute drive from the heart of Kansas City meaning you don’t have to travel far from your hotel or Airbnb.

This heavy-hitting lineup was dropped and is shaking things up for EDM fans in the midwest. With Kansas City being such a central location, you can expect an amazing turnout for this festival.

Not only will this festival be bringing some of the largest names in EDM, but it will also be covering a great variety of other genres as well. Bringing out acts such as Cordae, Lost Kings, Yung Bae, Bryce Vine and Evan Giia.

Tickets go on sale at 10:00 am CST on April 20, 2022. These will go fast so be sure to grab them ASAP from Breakaway's website here.

As always, we are expecting things to get heavy via sets brought by Friendzone and Trivecta. You can also look forward to getting a little groovy with sets by Wax Motif, Droeloe and Rossy. Breakaway is doing an amazing job covering a wide variety of genres with this lineup, and we couldn’t be more ecstatic about it.

Along with this beautiful main stage of artists, they will also be hosting a Silent Disco to showcase many of Kansas City’s finest DJs and producers. We love seeing a big festival like this supporting the local talent, and cannot wait to see what Kansas City brings to the table in the Bass Music Industry.

This festival is being made possible by the teams with Mammoth Productions and Prime Social. They are putting their heart and soul into this project and it already shows!

Breakaway will also have amazing sponsors to keep the party going strong!
