The long-awaited Automhate collab comes with, delivering a sonar blast heard 'round the world.

A magnetar is a type of neutron star with an exceptionally powerful magnetic field, often one trillion times stronger than Earth.
Magnetars showcase extreme behaviors that are mysterious and explosive.
Those are the qualities found in the Ushuuverse, the debut, 16-track album from Dr. Ushuu â a French bass scientist who is using his project to uncover new sonic territories.
Ushuuverse is a project he's spent three years working day and night on. A project that delivers storytelling and a new layer of his brand that we've been craving, all complete with a white lab coat.
This bass music project shows the world how versatile and creative Dr. Ushuu can get. The album comes with several collabs, some of which our heavy dubstep fans will recognize: Automhate and Hammerhead.

"This album is the story of two sides of me," Dr. Ushuu said. "Itâs an open letter to myself, my fans and my loved ones, about how Iâve been feeling these past three years, the connections Iâve made, what itâs like being on the road, being far from home, going through grief, love and everything in between."
He told us that this album is an invitation for anyone who wants to get to know him, comparing it to those PowerPoints we used to make as kids (haha).
The album hits Earth with a release party, taking place on Saturday, Oct. 4 in Paris, France. Ushuu & Friends will include sets from BIZO, Donkey Cum Collective, GLOCKZ, Hammerhead, IITYX and more.
"Paris is the city that adopted me when I was a kid. Itâs where I started making music, played my first shows. I owe everything to the French scene," Dr. Ushuu said.
He's been attending almost every local Paris show for the last four years, so it's no wonder he's got a massive friend group there. He chose this launch party lineup specifically because he wanted to put those talented artists on and give them an opportunity.

"I want to give them the same opportunities I was lucky enough to have, by creating a space where they can finally shine," Dr. Ushuu said.
Some of our favorite songs on the album include AIAIAIAIE with EYEMC and MAEVOL, Chaotic System, Ushuumhate and Find You.
The mission begins with Chaotic System, a festival-level anthem that comes with melodies only Dr. Ushuu can create. It was the third single off the album, and was released as a Dubstep FBI premiere back in May.
The album moves into Ushuumhate, an ID that's been circling around the dubstep universe all year. We've heard it with our own ears at festivals like Starbase and Rampage Open Air this year. It's been supported by IVORY and Dion Timmer.
Overall, he says that the Ushuuverse album release feels like a weight off his chest, even though it's scary not knowing how people will react.
It's clear that the most fun part of the album was how he worked together with his super talented close friends: Automhate, Hammerhead, Fabien Darcy and more.
