Mexico City, get ready: Automhate, PROXXXY and more are coming September 12

Bass Studio and Obsidian Agency are assembling a stacked international and homegrown lineup for one seriously filthy night at Sala Urbana.
Our investigation heads back south of the border as Bass Studio and Obsidian Agency bring together international and homegrown talent for a massive night of riddim in Mexico City.
If there’s one thing our investigations in Mexico have taught us, it’s this: the Mexican bass crowd does not play around.
They show up early. They show up deep. They know their riddim. And once the first plate gets dropped, good luck getting them to stop moving.
So naturally, when we caught wind of the lineup Bass Studio and Obsidian Agency put together for September 12, we knew this was a function worth putting on the FBI radar.
Automhate and PROXXXY will make their highly anticipated Mexico debuts, with Muray Dubz and FMC making the trip from Argentina and a stacked crew of Mexican talent holding it down throughout the night, including Jellbass, Unown, Gryvor, Deafny, Alyson Blitze, Requi, Viciousness, Bruneitor and Hyperion.
In other words: clear your schedule the next morning.
For José Sanchez — aka Jellbass — the event represents the first collaborative edition between Bass Studio and Obsidian Agency, and the lineup was built around what Mexico's bass community has been asking for.
"For Bass Studio and Obsidian Mexico, we wanted to present our first edition together, and what better way to make it bigger than with the Mexico debuts of Automhate and PROXXXY," José said. "A lot of people were asking for this sick lineup, and we wanted to make it come together."
The international talent is only part of the equation. José said it was equally important to showcase the artists helping build the scene closer to home.
"We presented an amazing national lineup, and we're also bringing Muray and FMC all the way from Argentina," José said. "We're so excited to bring Dubstep FBI into this amazing experience, too."
Every time we've turned our attention south of the border, we've been reminded just how much passion exists within this community. Mexico City crowds bring a different kind of energy... the kind where people actually show up for the openers, know the IDs, lose their minds over doubles and somehow still have enough energy left when the lights come on.
It's one of the reasons we've loved watching the riddim and dubstep community continue to grow throughout Mexico.
And it's why we're especially excited to officially be part of this one.
Yeah... CDMX is about to get filthy.
