There are a few cities that continue to be the beating heart of our bass music scene.

One of those cities is the giant metropolis of Los Angeles, California.

This month, our agents are checking in to make sure the underground scene is still operating under pressure.

Spoiler alert: It is.

This month, HOSTILE is hosting two shows proving that the scene hasn't slept: Drinkurwater on Saturday, June 14 and Versa on Saturday, June 21.

Both lineups deliver that signature, mouthwatering support lineup that HOSTILE is known for.

The Drinkurwater event is 18+ and takes place at one of our favorite warehouses, 1720 LA. It's been home to many a dubstep function, and has become a mainstay for the underground scene.

Drinkurwater has experienced a meteoric few years. We will always associate him with the banger known as Oh Fuck! (with Rated R) that has nearly 1.5 million streams on Spotify. But recently, his songs like WATERBENDA and Bendy Riddim Straw have become household bangers.

We're excited to see Alienpark finally getting the recognition he deserves. He just announced a new EP on KAYZO's Welcome Records, which will be dropping the day before this event. We are expecting to hear him rinse these tunes out live.

Everyone's favorite construction king, Versa, returns to LA in a big way through this upcoming headline at The Vermont. This event is 18+ and will be an absolute warzone once he and the support lineup get done with it.

Nimda is coming for blood, and we wouldn't be surprised if the entire venue gets deleted after his set (in a good way, of course). The undercard with Chango b2b Mongrel is actually illegal, and you know it's going to draw a massive crowd.

We even polled a man off the street AKA @madvillianjess who has attended countless shows in the LA area, just to make sure HOSTILE was still on-point.

"What's most appealing to me are the lineups they've been giving us," Jessy said. "Especially lately, they are just unmatched anywhere else because we don’t get certain artists or even events in general with the people HOSTILE brings out here."

His general message was that the environments of the warehouse shows are 10x more fun, and that he's met some of his best friends and home girls because of these events.

That's all the testimony we need to close this case.

Looks like HOSTILE passed the test.
