D3V's Riot Control Radio debut features a mind-blowing mix

From special IDs to new music and edits, D3V just delivered our Friday feast

"Rip this tune and I'll rip your f*cking face off."

Those are the words every headbanger loves to hear.

In an absolute flamer of an episode, D3V has brought us the mix we both need and deserve. The fact that he just packed 30+ tracks into this mix has us glued to our radars to see what the rest of this year will bring.

Blending various forms of electronic dance music, D3V has a raw stage presence that sets him apart from all others. Hailing from Orlando, FL he was the head resident DJ at the Ritz Ybor in Tampa, and recently threw down a killer set at Forbidden Kingdom.

"My tone would best be described as thicc sauce bb," he said. "It's heavy, but high-energy dubstep."

D3V's goal is to capture feelings in the form of sound.

"I title my tracks off of emotions or difficult situations that I've experienced in my life in hopes that the listener will also feel a similar emotion as to what I felt while producing my music."

He uses the dark emotions from his life as creative inspiration to produce bass music. "Everything I've ever felt as a human that's pissed me off or brought me down. It propels me, as I'm sure those emotions propel anyone, and I'm able to surface from it with a product that others can feel and experience joy from."

Fun fact: He's also a registered pharmacy technician in the state of Florida.

We are expecting the best tunes he's made so far to be released this year. He's only going to keep evolving as an artist to achieve his big dreams (that are just as big as his heart).
