The Canadian producer's soundscapes take on the form of test subjects, each representing a profound aspect of life that humans experience.
Future Exit is in the lab, and his latest songs are the test subjects.
These test subjects represent aspects of everyday life that all humans experience.
His first EP in the series of "test subjects," is called Test Subject 01: INTUITION, and it uses music to remind us of the importance of trusting our guts.
Now, that lab work is coming to light and we've got our hands on the tasty title track, Intuition.
The upcoming, five-track EP will be released on the esteemed Kannibalen Records tomorrow, April 10. It features collaborations with FREAKY and VRG.
"I don't want to keep on second guessing," the lyrics sing. These lyrics represent the overcoming thoughts that we all face in every day life, and align with the message Future Exit is trying to capture.
"INTUITION, the first test subject, reminds us of the importance of trusting our gut, that innate sense we cannot always articulate but know to be present," Future Exit said. "Throughout the five songs, I've put my feelings and experiences into the music, trying to showcase how my own intuition works."Â
He went on to say that there have been times in life where trusting his gut was really important and has helped him make positive decisions.
Future Exit has established himself as one of dubstep's rising young producers. He's known for his insane collab with Stoned Level called Dead Walk that released nearly one year ago on Kannibalen, as well as his collab with Chassi called Running To You that came out on DPMO back in 2022.
"I hope these songs can be a reminder to everyone of the importance of listening to your gut and to stop doubting yourself," Future Exit said.
Throughout this project, Future Exit encourages us to use music as our escape.
