Hammerhead unleashes chaos with ‘Manifolds,’ crowd killer supported by SLANDER, Diesel & more

After ripping three sets at Rampage Open Air, Hammerhead just dropped one of the nastiest bass tracks of the summer.

It’s been a huge month for Hammerhead.

The French bass producer just dropped his newest track 'Manifolds' on Friday, and it’s already turning heads.

Add in the fact that he played three different sets at Rampage Open Air — including a Thursday pre-party solo set on DMZ’s stage, a b2b2b with Bizo and IITYX, and a silent disco b2b with Ivory to close out the fest — so yeah, he’s on a serious come-up right now.

Trust us when we say that this one is a monster.

We first got hit with the raw power of Manifolds during SLANDER’s set at Starbase Festival, where they closed out their headlining slot with the unreleased ID. The track paired perfectly with fireworks, pyro, and one of the rowdiest crowd reactions we’ve ever witnessed.

That moment stamped Manifolds in our minds as a future anthem, and now, it’s finally here.

The track itself was born out of experimentation. Back in September 2024, Hammerhead was working on hard techno kicks, just messing around in the studio.

"I wanted to make hard techno kicks and by playing with (too much) distortion it ended up sounding like a cool bass sound," Hammerhead said. "Which led me to start writing a track with it. Everything came along very quickly, like it was writing itself."

As we always say, the best songs write themselves.

After teasing a short clip on socials, the hype train left the station. Fans were immediately drawn in, and some of the biggest names in the scene started sliding into his DMs.

“Bigger artists landed in my DMs asking for a playable, which was absolutely incredible to me,” Hammerhead told us.

And the support lineup is no joke. DJ Diesel (aka Shaq), NGHTMRE, Illenium, Kompany, IVORY and Dirtyphonics have all rinsed the track in their sets, fueling the anticipation leading up to its release.

Hammerhead describes it as an outlet that blends raw impact with intricate sound design.

“I’ve seen MANY moshpits forming on the first seconds of the drop,” he said.

The name Manifolds came to him by chance, but in retrospect, it fits perfectly. A manifold is a part of an engine that channels combustion into controlled force. That’s exactly what this track feels like. Controlled chaos. Pressure turned into impact.

With Manifolds finally out and support coming in from the top tier of bass music, Hammerhead is making it known that he’s here to stay. He told us fans can expect more heavy-hitters, plenty of experimentation, and the usual dose of production nerdery that keeps his community locked in.
