It's time to take shelter behind the bass because things are about to get heavy at the Queen Mary Waterfront Nov. 28-29, 2025.

Third time's a charm, right?

Apocalypse Festival, presented by Bassrush, is entering its third year at the Queen Mary Waterfront in Long Beach, California.

Whether you're looking for dubstep b2bs, drum 'n bass legends or riddim afters on the ocean liner, those heavy bass cravings will be satisfied over Thanksgiving weekend.

Taking place Friday, November 28 and Saturday, November 29, 2025, Apocalypse features over 100 artists playing across four stages that make up Zombieland.

The buzz surrounding this year's lineup has been vibrant. On the official announcement, fans commented with excitement, saying, "This is the sickest lineup ever," and "DNB ON TOPPP."

APOCALYPSE FESTIVAL STAGES:

Apocalypse Arena (mainstage)

Zombieland Citadel

Quarantine Zone

Necropolis District

Given such a stacked bill, how could we possibly narrow it down to the must-see sets? What if there are time conflicts? How will we get from stage to stage?

Read on, because our latest investigation has the answers.

Friday, Nov. 28: Viperactive at Apocalypse Arena

ree

If anyone's been on sick one lately, it's Viperactive. Not only did he just drop a collaboration with EDM Icon Dillon Francis, but he's been co-signed by NGHTMRE, Marshmello, Virtual Riot and T-PAIN all within the last year.

It's been years since we've seen him live, and all this recent buzz has set our expectations high. We know he won't disappoint.

Saturday, Nov. 29: SweetTooth at Apocalypse Arena

ree

Get ready for an absolute clinic. SweetTooth will be performing for his home state, and we know he's got something to prove. It's going to be him versus himself, a mad dash behind the decks, chops, double-drops and IDs.

He's calling this a "hometown beatdown," and we expect this set to top his previous Apocalypse performance from the inaugural year of 2023.

Friday, Nov. 28: THE RESISTANCE at Necropolis District

ree

After seeing THE RESISTANCE perform recently at Dubstation Massacre, we were left in awe. The mosh pits. The rare plates. The hype.

We are certain the fans at Apocalypse will bring their best into the pits for this set. If you dare to dive into the middle, you'll see people dressed in Darth Vader costumes, light sabers swiping and puzzling antics contributing to the appeal of this super group's performance.

Friday, Nov. 28: HURTBOX at Necropolis District

ree

HURTBOX started touring in America after his visa was approved earlier this year. His first five shows were sold out; He continued the blow-up with a larger-than-life Lost Lands set and tons of new music.

Now, our FBI agents will be catching him for the first time on U.S. soil. We're expecting to hear IDs from UNCHAINED III, as well as his signature song, KNOCKOUT with SHIVERZ. (Yes, we will lose it when this gets played.)

Friday, Nov. 28: Sanzu at Necropolis District

For our fellow riddim rats, this is the set to be at. Sanzu has become known as one of the hottest artists in the game after mind-blowing performances at Summoning of the Eclipse Renegades (we will never stop talking about this set), Wobbleland, KEMISTRY and Dubstation Massacre.

Now, fans will be blessed with a solo set from the snouted slicer himself, who just keep getting stronger. Get hyped by bumping his remix of WARLORD's MR. SNAZZY JOGGED DUB that just dropped on Beat Intelligence Network.

Friday, Nov. 28: FuntCase b2b Midnight Tyrannosaurus at Zombieland Citadel

ree

If you're looking for heavy, look no further than this iconic back-to-back set. FuntCase (AKA our DPMO Dad) has been touring the planet in his white mask for years now, creating a home on his label for some of our favorite young guns. Midnight Tyrannosaurus has always been a favorite due to his iconic curations like Black Label XL 5 (2018) and his Generation Radiation EP (2019).

OG fans of the sound will be at this set.

Friday, Nov. 28: Hexx b2b Otsukare at Necropolis District

ree

For anyone who lives for the absolutely feral side of riddim, this is your pilgrimage. HEXX and Otsukare are true riddim queens, and when they link up, something unholy happens. They unleash rituals.

Expect high knees. Expect rail goblins. Expect a swarm of riddim rats moving like they’ve been summoned from the underworld. Both artists have been flooding the scene with crazy sets all year, and Necropolis District is the perfect home for their crunchy, chaotic sound.

Friday, Nov. 28: Bou b2b Kanine at Quarantine Zone

ree

Drum and bass fans rise: Bou and Kanine are bringing the heat to the Quarantine Zone and this is easily one of the most stacked DnB sets of the entire weekend. These two have ridiculous chemistry behind the decks and the energy they create together is pure adrenaline.

You’re getting rollers. You’re getting dancefloor weapons. You’re getting that fast paced chaos that has crowds sprinting in circles and yelling their lungs out. This is the set everyone who commented, "DNB ON TOP" meant.

If you want to rave like the floor is on fire, this is the one.

Saturday, Nov. 29: LAYZ at Apocalypse Arena

LAYZ always brings the storm. Every stage she touches turns into a Category 5 headbanger zone, and we know Apocalypse Arena is about to be shaking. Her sound hits like an electrical meltdown and her sets are nothing but non stop energy from the first drop to the last kick.

She has been leveling up every year with massive shows and monster releases and this is the perfect moment for her to take over one of the biggest stages at the festival. If you came to Apocalypse to throw your whole spine into the rail, don’t skip LAYZ.

Saturday, Nov. 29: Kill Safari (Bro Safari b2b Kill the Noise) at Zombieland Citadel

You know a set is about to go crazy when two legends decide to team up again. Kill Safari has happened before and it instantly became one of those sets people talk about for years. Bro Safari and Kill the Noise together is controlled chaos and Zombieland Citadel is the perfect arena for whatever madness they have planned.

This set is going to be packed with heavy throwbacks, weird experimental moments, trap nostalgia, dubstep gut punches and everything in between. Both artists are icons, and when they’re on the decks together things get unpredictable fast. If you're looking for a set that feels like a wild ride through every era of heavy bass, this is the one you camp for.
