anti. comes out swinging with ‘ultimate’ in Wubaholics debut

Blending high-energy drops and neo-trap, we've been sucked into a wubby world.

Dancefloor vibes and experimental chirps - that's the tone encompassed in anti.'s latest banger that was just released on Wubaholics. The tune, ultimate, captures his ability to blend high-energy drops and neo-trap into one while we dance from beginning to end.

In a breakout year for the artist, anti. has dropped two other releases: BREAKER, a self-release back at the end of April and world, which was on the Quality Goods Records 005 compilation. He is starting to make a name for himself in the experimental trap game and we are curious to see if he has any more surprises in store for 2021.

I had the chance to talk to anti., Quinn Dueker, about the artwork, working with Wubaholics, his creative inspirations behind the release and what he has in store for us for the rest of the year.

He said that the artwork was created by Drop Texture Designs, and the idea of it was based on how the lighting in his room was when he was creating it.

“When making this track I had my room all in purple/blue lights, so those were the colors I had in mind,” After that, he let DTD flex their artistic hand and do whatever they felt fit the vibe of the track.

Quinn spoke highly of the Wubaholics crew regarding his first time working with them.

"They’re an incredible label with an awesome roster and group of people behind them,” he said. "I couldn’t be more thankful to be a part of their team for this release."

As for the song itself, creative wise, he said that the song was actually finished over a year ago. He also stated that

“I made the track at a creative crossroads in my career where I chose to evolve my sound a bit and it really resonated with me.”

He also gave us a little teaser as to what we can expect for the rest of the year: Saying to keep an eye out for two singles; the VS EP with a special friend; as well as the continuation of the Fight Night that they have started.

“It’s gonna be a wild ride and I hope everyone is coming along with it,” anti. said.
