This unlikely duo proves why the future is savage, via 'Check Dis,' out now on Excision's esteemed dubstep label.
Some IDs just do damage. That's exactly what our agents have concluded after investigating Check Dis, the latest from Blaize and HAMRO.
The tune was just released on Subsidia's Night Compilation, a series that has been known to deliver a pot-of-gold in the form of heavy dubstep tunes. The full compilation features 24 artists from across the heavy bass spectrum, including AlienPark, Bernzikial, Bleaubeard, Blvk Sheep, Sam Lamar, Scarexx, SIPPY, Veros and more.
And while this is Blaize and HAMRO's first collaboration together, we're glad it's seeing the light of day.
Both producers have been on a tear this summer, playing left and right, east to west around the states and Canada. They have become some of the most prominent artists in the thriving, North American underground dubstep scene.
Blaize is known for being a pioneer in the bass music scene, someone who leads the way for young producers through his mentoring program. He told us that this song has been going off in his sets, and that the crowd loves it.
"I’m super stoked that we found a home like Subsidia for it," Blaize said.
Everyone's favorite pink-hatted magician from up north, HAMRO, concurred with that statement. He reinforced the fact that this song garners crazy crowd reactions all over the place.
“So excited for this tune to come out," HAMRO said. "Cant wait to see this do damage in other peoples sets.”
His last performance in Denver was one for the books, leaving us wanting more of that slinky riddim sound.
Check Dis is begging for your attention. And if you catch it being dropped live at any upcoming sets (especially this weekend at Bass Canyon), tag us in videos. We will continue to have eyes and ears out for what Blaize and HAMRO do next.
In the meantime, Check Dis can be streamed now on all platforms.
