Crankdat drops electro house shuffler, 'Power Stone,' on Monstercat

Continuing an impressive year of music, Crankdat's latest house anthem follows June's heavier release, Ding Dong, also on Monstercat.

Continuing an impressive year of music, Crankdat's latest house anthem just released a few days ahead of his Tomorrowland debut.

Known as a god-tier producer by many in the scene, Crankdat is a rising, young artist who isn't afraid to release music true to himself. Paired with unique artwork created by himself in Blender, he returned to his familiar Monstercat home, this time with Power Stone.

This is Ohio-based producer's first electro house tune in five years and he said he wrote the track to bring something different to the table for his festival sets.

“My new song, Power Stone, is a 130-BPM, electro-house record that I made to put some energy into my live sets," Crankdat said. "Hope you guys like it!”

The tune starts with some of Crankdat's signature synth work and trap drums, building hype into the drop where all the tension built is released masterfully, right on cue to the tag, "Let's get this party jumping!"

Crankdat does exactly that as he fused together his signature dubstep growls with the feel of a house track. While it shares the same BPM and feel as last month's Ding Dong, it has more of the sounds of a house anthem than a dubstep slapper made at house tempo.

Following the release of Power Stone, Crankdat is taking his talents overseas where he will be playing at Tomorrowland Belgium on the Monstercat stage along, with some of the label's other titans Koven and Modestep, along with many more.
