Excision & friends sell out two NYE shows in Buffalo, NY

Out with a bang and in with the new: MNM Presents hosted the legendary event, stacked with heat.

Excision led the countdown to the new year with a legendary show in Buffalo, NY this past weekend.

The two-night event featured some of the heaviest dubstep the scene has to offer, with each night drawing in headbangers from all over the surrounding area.

The venue, Buffalo Riverworks, is known for its large capacity and ability to withstand Excision’s earth-shattering bass.

This historic weekend for the Buffalo EDM scene kicked off Saturday evening with sets from RZRKT, Stoned Level, Dion Timmer and Kill The Noise.

Though Excision has thrown tons of events in the area throughout the years, many attendees agree that this lineup is unlike anything the Buffalo scene has had the fortune of experiencing.

As for the countdown to midnight? Excision rang in 2023 the best way he knows how - with a countdown to a massive drop complete with CO2, a roaring crowd and enough confetti to last us until 2024.

Night two of Excision didn’t hold back either - the event finally sold out as doors opened. Sunday’s show featured an equally heavy lineup, including Space Wizard, LAYZ, Dirt Monkey and PhaseOne B2B Riot Ten playing direct support for Excision.

Night two was rowdy from beginning to end, with Space Wizard starting the night and Excision closing it out with another spectacular set.

Each artist packed their sets with massive IDs. The crowd was rowdy and full of headbangers as Dirt Monkey, LAYZ and PhaseOne b2b Riot Ten threw down their sets.

Bolstered by the massive production that Buffalo Riverworks brought to the show, it was a rousing success.

MNM Presents has been making some impressive moves as of late, with Excision’s NYE show setting the tone for what’s sure to be one of the biggest years yet for the Buffalo-based promotion group.

Some of this year’s show roster includes Kai Wachi, Subtronics, KAYZO, Sullivan King, Marauda, Seven Lions, Bonnie & Clyde, and many other hard-hitters.

As the Buffalo scene continues to build its loyal dubstep fanbase, we can expect to see more shows of this caliber from the promotion group throughout 2023.
