Dubstep FBI's intel channels have flagged a high-risk operation happening at Denver's Ogden Theatre on Saturday, May 9.
Codename: Ransom Camp 4
Suspects involved: Hostage Situation, Wodd, sfam & BIG BLOK
If you’ve been paying attention, you already know Hostage Situation has been moving fast. Formed in 2021, the trio is currently wrapping up their 40-stop North American tour with one final show in Denver.
We received a tip that the May 9 show will feature bigger production than their last three Ransom Camp events in the Mile High City — we know the home town fans are going to pull up for this one.
If last October’s 20-track album told us anything, it’s that they are not here to play it safe. We covered that drop and clocked their range immediately.
Fans can expect both heavy and cinematic energy, with a couple of surprises sprinkled in between. With this being the final show of the North American tour, you can bet on it being a special night.
In the direct support slot is Wodd, the French disco riddim architect. He's been a member of the Kannibalen Records fam for years now, and is known for releases like Riddim Tale, Weird & ODD and Sexy Back.
The 140 sound boys, sfam, will also be performing. The duo has been DJing together since 2014 and has grown to become a household name in bass music over the last few years after receiving support from Liquid Stranger, Buku and more.
BIG BLOK will be kicking things off with a set that showcases the new chapter in his music career. Fans will recognize him for his remix of Hostage Situation's Burn For You, that was released back in November.
We just discovered BIG BLOK, and are already impressed with his music.
Final tour stops always hit different — Artists go harder, crowds go crazier and there’s a vibe that this is the last chance to catch this exact version of the show before it’s gone.
Because Hostage Situation is still early in their run and already moving like this, it will start to feel like one of those, “you just had to be there” moments.
