This new banger is here to shatter your limits (and your speakers)
Filthy is back with a new track, and trust us when we say it lives up to the name. 'Caged Within' is everything you’d expect from an artist who’s been around the block and isn’t afraid to literally get filthy with it.
This track is packed with drops that hit harder than your Monday morning coffee.
"I believe the biggest obstacle to our life and success is our own mind," Filthy said. "We are our only true enemy, and our only limits are those we impose on ourselves. That’s the message I aimed to bring awareness to while also delivering the filthiest drop."
Mission accomplished.
Filthy’s sound design has matured into something entirely his own, showcasing not just the technical skills he's spent over a decade honing but also his knack for creating music that feels alive.
Filthy’s journey into music began when most kids were just discovering what they wanted to be when they grew up. At 8 years old, a family friend handed him some DJ equipment, and the rest is history. He quickly transitioned from DJing electro house to producing his own tracks by the age of 14, drawing heavy influence from Skrillex.
Fun fact? Filthy played at Ottawa’s Bluesfest when he was just 14, sharing the bill with Lady Gaga, Snoop Dogg, and Zedd.
But Caged Within isn’t about the past—it’s a showcase of Filthy’s evolution. Inspired by artists like MASTERHAND, voltra, and Knoir, he’s pushing boundaries with unique sound design and an unmistakable flow.
Despite these influences, the track remains a distinctly personal statement. It’s a track he’s intentionally kept under wraps, building anticipation for the surprise release.
"I kept this one for myself," Filthy said. "I wanted it to be more exclusive and to showcase my new skill and brand."
Filthy isn’t just living up to his name—he’s redefining it. Keep your ears peeled for what’s next, because if Caged Within is any indication, Filthy is just getting started.
