Mile32's debut EP, 'Challenger,' races into airwaves on DPMO

This is the most forward-thinking, modern dubstep he's made so far.

At Dubstep FBI, we are always looking for the spiciest, crunchiest, slinkiest plates.

We're looking for criminals who create sounds that satisfy our thirst for bass. Sounds that push the boundaries of modern dubstep and snap necks in the dark.

This week, we've identified our latest high-value target: Mile32.

His debut EP, Challenger, has just crossed the finish line on FuntCase's label, DPMO (Don't Piss Me Off). This project features four songs, including the freshly released, yet highly coveted, dub plate Challenger.

We smelled Challenger's rubber burning from a "Mile" away.

Mile32 has become a frequent subject of investigation over the years due to his criminal behavior. One of the FBI's cases involved his performance of a highly dangerous set in Mönchengladbach, Germany, for the BASSBOX x DUBSTEP FBI x RIDDIM NYC takeover in June 2025.

Since then, he's dropped the Challenger EP songs at sets around the United States and Canada where the crowd has eaten them up.

Challenger has been played out by FuntCase for over a year now, where he applied his signature recipe for turning it into a dub plate. Mile32 told us that FuntCase is actually the reason the vocals are so fire.

"When I had made the first version of Challenger, it had placeholder rap vocals on it," Mile32 said. "I sent that version to James (Funtcase); he sourced a rapper to make an original pack of vocals for the song (Fugzi), and the rest is history!"

It seems only right that Fugzi's fire UK vocals are present on a DPMO song, and we highly recommend you do some investigating of your own into his other tunes.

Another major weapon on the EP is Check This Out, the collaboration with Ecuadorian artist, Motar. It begins with steady symbols indicative of a riddim banger, then enters the drop with squeaky back-and-forth tabling that provokes steady head nodding.

A perfect pairing for a double, if we do say so ourselves.

Signal Jammer features the stompy, bass-gun energy we're used to from Mile32. It's got the metallic sounds and quarter note chops that fit perfectly on DPMO.

2face is a zooming tune that we picture on top of a movie trailer, with scenes of a Formula1 car doing laps. We look forward to seeing crowd reactions when this and Signal Jammer inevitably get rinsed live.

So there you have it. Mile32 has drifted in and delivered his debut EP on DPMO.

"The Challenger EP is the most forward thinking, modern piece of dubstep that I have made," Mile32 said.

Listen for yourself to find out why, and catch Mile32 at upcoming shows in Salt Lake City with Beastboi. (April 17) and Atlanta with Sanzu (July 18).
