OG Nixin & VICIOUS – Charged with first-degree riddim on Beat Intelligence Network

The new single from OG Nixin & VICIOUS, Power Trip, is a relentless riddim anthem packed with disgusting bass, face-scrunching distortion and massive pre-drop sustains that feel like they could shake a venue.

Power Trip arrives via Beat Intelligence Network (BIN), the new record label from the Filthy Beat Inspectors — established as part of Dubstep FBI’s five-year anniversary.

Power Trip is already standing out as one of its most aggressive and memorable releases to date.

The label’s mission is clear: Spotlighting rising, local, and established talent across the bass music spectrum, and pushing boundaries while building community.

This track with OG Nixin and VICIOUS does exactly that.

But what really makes this track hit is how clearly you can hear each artist’s signature style coming through.

OG Nixin brings that raw, West Coast energy he’s known for. His sound blends heavy dubstep with gritty hip-hop roots, and in Power Trip, you feel it in the bounce, the swing, and the attitude in every drop.

Known for his work with Disciple, Bassrush, and Dim Mak, OG Nixin’s influence here is loud and unmistakable.

He just announced the Public Enemies Tour with the young legend Benda, where the two will play 15 shows in cities like Denver (Aug 29), Tampa (Oct. 11), Las Vegas (Nov. 26), Seattle (Dec. 5) and more.

VICIOUS, on the other hand, brings a more mechanical edge.

His sound design leans industrial and aggressive, and you can hear his influence in the sharp, metallic tones and the heavy sustain work that stretches the tension before the bass even hits.

Power Trip is a showcase of two rising forces pushing the genre forward with purpose and just the right amount of madness.

Proceed with volume. And caution.
