The FBI got an exclusive listen of this new track off the label's latest installment of 'Cult Classics'.
Izadi just returned to 40oz Cult's compilation series with a tune that's catchy enough to be the 2022 festival season anthem.
Dubstep FBI got the exclusive premiere of his energetic, new single, Ignorant, dropping Friday, April 15 on the 40oz Cult's Cult Classics compilation. The full compilation features tracks from FBI familiars, including Blurrd Vzn and RAK.
Izadi released on the label's Cult Classics, Vol. 1 series back in 2021, and has seen strong support from the label's leader, Dack Janiels.
"Izadi is leading the charge with the newest installment of the 40oz Cult Classics compilation series not only with his new single, Ignorant," Dack Janiels said. "But, alongside three other hand-selected bangers straight from the vaults of Blurrd Vzn, Eater, Autokorekt and RAK."
Izadi said his goal was to create something catchy and stompy with this tune.
"Most of this song came together as happy accidents, but those happy accidents are what make the song feel full," Izadi said. "My favorite happy accident that came from this song are the vocal chops in the intro."
It's come to be a full-circle moment that Izadi is now releasing this song on 40oz Cult.
"I first debuted this song last June at a show that was co-headlined by Dack Janiels and YAKZ, so having it released on a 40oz Cult compilation that I was able to curate is a bit of a full-circle moment."
