Ravenscoon & Noise Pollution blast Speakaz on Wakaan

The collab pays homage to drumstep cores with driving basslines and halftime beats.

Ravenscoon just went full-throttle ahead with a thunderous new drumstep collab on Wakaan.

Partnering with the duo Noise Pollution, this track bumps on modern sound systems and continues to press down on the gas pedal with Ravenscoon's momentum from previous Wakaan releases.

Speakaz pays homage to the core of drumstep that straddles the line between traditional dubstep and drum and bass.

This release marks Noise Pollution’s first official release in almost a year. These two producers have come out swinging with a record that is going to grace the ears of deep bass listeners at live shows.

“Personally, I feel very proud of this song - which we designed to open sets with. When you try to come up with a massive intro song you have to make sure that there is something that sets the tone and expectation of what is to come.” Ravenscoon said. “It must be followed by a chorus that pays it off. With 'Speakaz', we have both of those elements - ensuring that this will be a mainstay in my sets to come.”

Ravenscoon, from San Francisco, is no stranger to Wakaan. His previous label releases are Revolve, Getcha Movin’ with Smith and the Fun & Games EP.

He has been making a name for himself in the past couple of years. Showing his passion and love for electronic music in both his original songs and his wildly popular mixtape series spanning all genres, each Ravenscoon live set is unlike anything we've experienced before.

Noise Pollution is a bass duo that loves to “genre bend,” mixing and mashing some of the most unthinkable combinations while behind the decks.

They focus on bringing a huge span of frequencies across multiples genres. With this being their first release in over a year, we can’t wait to see what else they got in store for the rest of the year.

This collab proves even more that Ravenscoon is not slowing down off the gas pedal anytime soon.
