The heavy-hitting bass duo blast heat with 'Strapped'
Meet the producers
Ruvlo, based in Staten Island, New York, has had a banner year. Playing at Lost Lands and booking shows across the country, he has been on a roll. With classic hits such as his 'Lambo' remix and 'Blah Blah' with Crankdat under his belt, he also has his highly anticipated collab with Slushii 'Invaders From Mars' dropping on Slushii's debut album. 'Strapped' is his third release on Subsidia Records, and based on past experiences, we'll most likely hear it played down by artists such as Alison Wonderland, Excision, and Zeds Dead who have shown their support in the past.
Guerro is a bass music producer from the Netherlands. He's had his music played out by artists such as Excision and ATLiens, and is consistently leveling up his skills. His tracks have been played at festivals such as EDC and Lost Lands and it's his goal to play festivals that large as soon as possible. "Strapped" is his second release on Subsidia Records, where he released 'Hound' with Mylky over a year ago.
'Strapped' is a heavy hitter, taking no prisoners as it moves past the build and immediately grips one by the throat with the drop. The drop is classic Ruvlo, with his sound design shining through with the sustained sound on top of the bass. There is no doubt this one will be played out by Excision and many more.
"Had a ton of fun making this track. This song is the beginning of a new style of sound from myself that I'll be pushing," Ruvlo said.
Ruvlo has a few shows before the end of the year, including a New Year's Eve show in Minneapolis alongside Jeanie, Jiqui, Hi I'm Ghost, and Sweet Tooth. Don't sleep on this!
