The largest bass music festival in Texas is under investigation, w/ artists like DIESEL, EPTIC b2b Space Laces, NGHTMRE b2b DIMENSION, Perry Wayne, Rated R, Stoned Level & more.
Everything is bigger in Texas, and that includes festivals.
One of the dubstep scene's most iconic figures, DIESEL AKA worldwide basketball star Shaquille O'Neal, has announced the second installment of his Bass All Stars Festival in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas.
Known for using his platform to elevate upcoming dubstep artists, DIESEL has become a father figure to many of us, while instilling a sense of community among an otherwise competitive dubstep landscape.
His festival is going down on Saturday, Nov. 16, at Panther Island Pavilion. The event features 17 artists, spread across two massive stages.
And while we know there are plenty of headbangers in the Lone Star State, it's clear that those seeking bass outside of Texas will make the journey as well.
FULL BASS ALL STARS LINEUP (in ABC order): DIESEL, Dion Timmer, Dirt Monkey, Eptic b2b Space Laces, along with NGHTMRE b2b Dimension, Peekaboo, CELO, Grabbitz, Muerte, Perry Wayne, Rated R, Sora, Kozmoz, Space Wizard, and Stoned Level.
"All I wanna do is create a festival that allows us to escape reality for a few hours with our best friends. This family we have built together is forever," DIESEL said on X after the 2023 Bass All Stars festival.
After Bass All Stars 2023 concluded, we saw nothing but positive feedback on the internet from fans regarding how well-run the festival was. We expect nothing less from this year's installment.
Elevating talented producers across the dubstep scene
The festival's support tier features some of the FBI's Most Wanted artists; talented producers who we've been investigating for years: CELO, Rated R, Perry Wayne, SORA, Kozmoz, Grabbitz, MUERTE, Space Wizard and Stoned Level.
Many of these artists have been featured on Dubstep FBI guest mixes and on the Filthy Beat Inspectors podcast (Rated R was actually our first-ever podcast interview back in July 2020!)
These support artists have been on the ground floor of the industry for the last few years. They are the bread and butter of our scene and have been working tirelessly to make names for themselves and spread the good word of dubstep.
It's exciting to see DIESEL backing them as the next generation of bass music leaders.
While DIESEL is widely known (by our parents' generation) for his superstar basketball career, his notoriety among younger generations has stuck due in part to thrilling live performances at some of EDM's biggest festivals.
DIESEL is hot off magical European performances at Bootshaus, Tomorrowland and more. He and his son Myles even played a surprise b2b in the rave cave, serving as the first father-son b2b in Tomorrowland history. He's always up to something, which is why our agents have been keeping an open case file on his whereabouts.
Expect surprises and larger-than-life production at the second-ever installment of SHAQ's Bass All Stars Festival this November.
