Hip-hop meets heavy bass as Casey Veggies joins HEXED & BASSBABE on 'How Does It Feel'

The worlds of rap and bass music are colliding again with this mouthwatering collab.
Casey Veggies is jumping into dubstep with HEXED and BASSBABE, creating one of the most unexpected cross-genre collabs of the summer.
Their new, self-released single, How Does It Feel, represents the contradiction of finally reaching your goals, only to realize that success doesn't always bring fulfillment.
The record hits with deep bass and a rap flow that has us nodding our heads. Casey Veggies spits about how listeners should stay in their own lane, keep it locked and keep it real for themselves.
"I got my own money... Them boys talking like they really like that, but it's not even real... You can't stay down, keep it 100, tell me how does it feel."
It's not every day that you see a collaboration like this, and our agents are keen to uncover more about why Casey Veggies jumped on the track, and who the suspects HEXED and BASSBABE really are.
The collab first started when HEXED and BASSBABE linked up to build the original demo. It was refined quite a bit before getting sent to Casey Veggies.
According to HEXED, who is based in Tampa, Florida (another bass capital city), everything changed when Casey Veggies entered the chat.
"Once Casey Veggies returned his vocals, the sessions took on another level of energy," HEXED said. "His hunger and willingness to work pushed us to match his firepower and capture what felt like magic in a bottle."
Casey Veggies is known for collaborations spanning hip-hop throughout his career. Not only was he a brief, founding member of the rap collective, Odd Future, but he has also worked with artists like Mac Miller, Kendrick Lamar, YG and IAMSU!.
It's cool to see rappers who have been so instrumental in the hip-hop scene shift gears to working with dubstep artists. He's continuing to stay fresh by bridging genres through vocals.
HEXED, BASSBABE and Casey Veggies even got the Barstool sign-off with a comment from Jon Gruden on the announcement, who used to be a coach in the NFL and is now working for Barstool Sports.
HEXED is coming hot off Warped Tour where he performed as Sammy Adams’ DJ to a massive crowd at the Marina Green Park and Shoreline Waterfront in Long Beach, California.
Not only have HEXED and BASSBABE collaborated previously, but she has a lore of her own. Known on-screen by her name Aliah Scott, she has been credited for her roles in Venom: Last Dance, F1 The Movie, Boneyard and more. Peep her IMDB here.
She told us that her favorite part of this collab is the fact that each artist incorporated their own twist.
"Every person that contributed to this track brought something different to the table, and hearing the final product was phenomenal,” BASSBABE said.
This joint single is just a taste of what's to come, as HEXED is preparing to drop his next project, the ALCHEMY EP, this August.
BASSBABE has more collabs coming up with notable names in the industry, and is preparing to play some live shows.

It honors Casey Veggies’ rich history of bridging rap and electronic culture while BASSBABE and HEXED are chasing the coveted title of "Next Up" as they advance in their careers.
