With his third release of 2023, GUERRO unleashes another slapper upon the scene
GUERRO's latest heavy hitter DEF JAMZ gets straight to business, cooking up some bass and serving it out. Coming off a stacked 2022, DEF JAMZ is already GUERRO's third release of 2023 as he starts off strong.
With releases on Subsidia Records, Lost In Dreams, Circus Records and more, GUERRO's discography more than speaks for itself. With multiple guest appearances at Lost Lands, 2023 is hopefully the year GUERRO snags his visa and makes his way over to the US to play.
DEF JAMZ was an experiment for GUERRO, with him telling Dubstep FBI,
"Def Jamz is the result of me wanting to experiment with new sounds while still staying true to the usual heavier dubstep that I make. The main flow of the track is inspired by a reggaeton/moombahton like rhythm which I recreated with bass sounds instead of drums. It’s also the first produced track that I heard being played out live in person as an ID at Lost Lands w/ VRG & Blvk Sheep. When I got the opportunity to put it out on Bassrush it clicked immediately."
As previously mentioned, DEF JAMZ is already GUERRO's third release of 2023, with much to come. Hitting the ground running, 2023 looks to be a banner year for GUERRO as he continues to grow and evolve.
