Blvk Sheep, Felmax drop delightfully raucous new collab, 'Dual Blade'

In another out-of-left-field drop, Subsidia Records just flexed a full lineup of talent across 17-tracks on the Dusk Vol. 3 Compilation

Blvk Sheep and FelMax’s newest creation entitled Dual Blade is a stand-out track alongside other songs by artists such as Ruvlo, Mikesh!ft, Pax Impera and Ray Volpe.

Blvk Sheep has a long list of recent banger collabs with artists such as TVBOO, Nvadrz and Apollo Vega. Felmax is known as a talented and well-respected producer in the scene -- he recently dropped Hot Pursuit with Gladez on Night Vol. 3.

Neither artist is a stranger to releasing on Subsidia Records; Blvk Sheep has been featured on labels such as Wakaan too. One thing is clear -- what's in front of us is some seriously nasty dubstep with trap residing at its core.

“FelMax and I linked up around March when Covid started hitting hard. He sent me the original idea and I flipped it and we made a huge festival-esq banger for y’all," Blvk Sheep said. "I haven’t played it out much, but when I did it always hits HARD on the big systems.”

Dual Blade certainly packs some heat, steadily building in energy until the drop grabs you by your throat in a tumultuous occasion of bass and excitement. Thankfully, it allows for a moment to recover from the headbanging until it eventually climaxes again at the second drop which is grimier and wholeheartedly nastier than the first drop.

Based in New York and having most recently thrown down some earth-shaking sets at a drive-in rave in Scranton and the Elements’ Covid-19-safe Halloween festival, Blvk Sheep has an ability to craft impeccable sets that can get one both headbanging and dancing their heart out.

Thinking of trap and EDM together, we immediately recall major artists such as RL Grime, Baauer, and Flosstradamus -- producer Blvk Sheep can hang with that list of greats. He continues to impress with every track he releases, and he is well on his way to being a household name in the world of dubstep and trap.
